#251 One for the mind. =)

Okie i found this pretty cool thing to share with all of you. Enjoy. x)

Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.

There is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Inspiring huh, at least to me. ;)

A reminder to all the slackers out there. =P

#250 AB CAMPO!

Alright, this is very very late. But i think it truly deserves a post, all the tough times, fun experiences, friendships forged. This camp is truly a highlight of year 2009. [:

MOHICAN Group 9

The small paper was not enough to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you people, so here i am to add more. Just like what aaron did, appreciated it bro.

Aaron
The marvellous camp IC and team leader. You have really done well and kudos to you during your term as CIC. Though you were a little shaky at first but you overcame it and did a great job controlling the whole lot of us. =D thanks also for your valuable advice and contribution throughout the camp, and they were many many many. :D

Jared
The cute giant of our group. =D thanks for your unwavering support throughout the camp, especially during the games. And don't worry too much about your face, i think you're already good looking and attractive enough from your character and acts of a gentlemen. She will appreciate it. ;D

Zhe Han
The cool and anti gravity guy. Not to mention the fastest eater in our group or whole AB camp? We would have definitely won if there was a game which involves finishing food with you. =D Thank you for being there with your hilarious actions and laughter. Getting to know you has been a pleasure, keep climbing well!

Zhi Heng
Hey bang bang! We both have bangs! =D Anyway, thanks for doing your very best for our sandcastle building project. Can see that you had trouble controlling our group but eventually you did your best to get the job done. =D Thanks also for your funny entics that tickled my bones all the time. You made us go furthur for night X.

Shao An
Woah, i think you can be a great leader. And your preserverance with the really bad cough and not reporting sick, kudos to you. Really, go see a doctor and get it treated man, you won't get quarantined, i hope. :x Else you can ask her to give you some love potion to treat you, teehee. :P Anyway, great job man, you can go far!

Bing Ru
Classmate! Really got to know the other side of you in this camp. Seems to me that you have the potential to take charge too, but do open up more and contribute your ideas! Nothing is wrong so go for it. :D You're a encourager and motivator too, though quite a silent one but that's good too. Hope to see you open up in e future!

Chay Pioh
My god, you. Thanks for all the wonderful times doing PTs in the middle of the night, telling lame jokes that can seriously make you lame, pun intended. Also, you have really improved LOADS throughout the camp, giving more opinions, opening up and helping out throughout the activities, great job! =D You will do very well for your napfa, i guarantee that with all that training. Don't over work yeah? ^^

Tian Yuan
Hi! Aw man, only got to know you for like a few hours but do do do take care if you're still not well. :D a pity we could not got to know you better. :(

Thao
I'm keat keat, not kit kit! Ahahah nvm it's okay. Thanks for trying really hard for our SL project, couldn't have done it without your coordination at the helm. =D Also good job for all the encouragement to the team throughout the 5 days, they were vital. hope to see you take on more roles in council!

Shirlene
Superman! :D teehee, okay i shall not tease you furthur. You ah, please don't be afraid to take the lead and hide your abilities. You have many chances and opportunities in the future, seize them and do well k? You have our support so don't afraid to fall yup. Otherwise, thanks for being so caring to the team ya. ^^

Wan Lin
You can shout loud! Believe in yourself, take in a deep breathe and BOOM! :D you can be more confident at times but good job as group IC yup. ;) also, thanks for showing concern to all of us and caring for our welfare. I guess you can excel as the welfare class leader. ahaha. :)

Laskhmi
Shao an and you both share the same quality: Preserverance. Who can walk more than 15+ km with an injured leg? Laskhmi! Seriously, not many people could hang on for so long so salutes to you. Other than that, you really take your lessons learnt really seriously so good good job. I bet your thick notes will do you much help in the future. :)

Jacqueline
Great leader you are! You really have alot of potential to go far not including your many talents such as navigating for the team through the Day and Night Expedition. We would have walked much more without you at the helm. =D kudos to you for your concern for everyone in the group and encouragement and enthusiasm shown throughout the 5 days. =D

Ling yu
Twin!!!! =D We seriously hyped up the group man. Objective 1 achieved. :D But i guess we both have to learn to give others a chance to lead sometimes and not chiong to volunteer ourselves all the time. Anyway, you have once again proven that you're capable of being a leader in this camp even though you don't have much experience. So don't worry so much, you will do well in council! ^^

And yeap, to the many many many friends made in AB Camp, i thank all of you for putting your best throughout these 5 days and may our friendship last for many years to come and i look forward to working with you gentlemen and ladies one day. Kudos to all of you!

PS: Thank you instructors, especially Wen jie, Swee Hao and Wei Xuan! =D

#249 Wasting time here. x)

Okay i should be studying now. =/ Can't go back to sleep due to the super strong coffee i drank 1 hour ago. Anyway, let me try to do a report on Man U Vs Arsenal 2nd Leg (MU won 1:0 on 1st leg)

Match started with Man U taking full advantage of the younger side. They pounced and preyed and at the 8th min, they were through 1:0. Great lookout for Cristiano Ronaldo and a great run by him. He is still contentable for Player of the Year i must say, spotting Park J.S without even looking. Sadly, the hardworking Gibbs could not perform and slipped, giving Park the chance to score. 1:0 Man U!

11th minute, free kick way outside penalty box and ronaldo prepares for it with his usual 3-4 steps back, opening up legs and taking a deep breathe. Bam! Powerful kick sends the ball dipping into the corner. Almuni could have produced a brilliant save if he could reach out more. Great free kick, 2:0 Man U! Arsenal fans stopped chanting...

Rest of first half was total United Dominance, though arsenal held ball possession 54% to MU 46%. No goals but many great attempts from Ronaldo and rooney. Arsenal's only close one came from Fabregas's header but Van Der Sa saved it with ease.

2nd half started with both sides pretty balanced. Arsenal were pushing more and producing more attempts at goal. However, after a quick counter and great passing from ronaldo, park ji sung and rooney, Man U were up 1 again in the... was it 60+ min? crap i forgot. It was after an attack by Arsenal and Man u regained position with ronaldo breaking fast before passing to park. Park spotted rooney and passed the ball with great precision and timing as rooney made a dash towards Arsenal's goal. 3 red shirts against 2 blue(rooney and ronaldo) but the latter produced a great goal with rooney producing an excellent pass and ronaldo finishing it beautifully.

Arsenal fans started to leave the stadium. >.< Okay i don't really know what was carrying on after the 3rd goal because i was reading up on WEP notes so.. :) But, i did saw a great attempt by arsenal forcing fletcher and van persie to tussle for the ball in the penalty box. VP went down after some struggle and ref pointed to the penalty spot after giving a red card to Bone Clinkz(LOL) Fletcher. Everyone in the MU side were furious because replays showed there wasn't a need for a red. Let's hope the suspension is removed and fletcher gets to play.

Arsenal's comeback came right after an excellent penalty taken by Cesc Fabregas. Seriously he should shave, he looks so old. Ogay back to topic, Arsenal used the remaining 15 minutes or so to continue pushing on and most of the play were in the MU half. MU had 2 great chances from freekicks and the first shot was so closed to hitting the cross bar while the 2nd just went wide. 10-men MU were still solid in defence and the game ended 3:1 with little attempts on goal.

Reported by Wong Wee Keat, Soccer Analyst for Wee Keat Times. LOL

Stop ranting weekeat. time to buck up, you're failing like crazy. >.< Napfa also did so badly! D for sit and reach?! Time to knock some sense into you.

#247 Life's like that.

Finally have some free time to do a proper posting. :)

Workload is still increasing and decreasing and our house friday proposal was scrapped. D: Anyway, we have came up with an idea which was pretty decent and i heard our teacher liked it. x) Let's hope our plan will be a success! 26th House Comm Elects gogo! =D And yea, everyone else is also working hard now, 26th elects jiayou!

Cheerleading is still fun as always. :) Seriously, i can't wait for the final performance and do well but i don't want practice to stop. I will seriously be really bored and sad after the performance. Furthurmore, mummy is really angry because i'm hurting myself here and there but it's all worth it because the fun and experience outweighs the pain. I bet everyone feels the same. =D

Today was a pretty crazy day. Cheer practice in the morning and we completed the routine all the way to e end! Yay go cheer! -yanteng hahaha. okay that was a joke. Yeap although we fail many times but we still did it in the end. Monday will be pe dept QC and i seriously hope they don't take away any stunts or our poor mentor liang pei will have to teach us more dances and can really see she's having a hard time. sorryyyyy D: Please aj pe teachers, we will ensure our brave flyers will be safe and sound. because we love each other. =D do take care of yourselves cheerleaders! jingyi take care of your ankle! Hardy, andy lorainne get well soon! The rest please don't fall sick! Next thursday!!

Rushed straight to bishan for tuition after cheer. Had some old chang kee sticks for lunch + a drink. Louann the monkey also did not had lunch. hahaha and she came up with some really lame jokes. tuition was 'fun' as we had an essay test which i think i completely went out of point already. Siting, please don't look so stress! We worry for you know.

After tuition, rushed to amk to meet pw group members - suang fu krystle and haena. abhi is in netherlands playing hockey*. Discussion was quite productive and we confirmed our past/future plans and strats and lessons learnt bla bla bla boring stuff. Liang pei: I didn't even use any Pw skills in uni la. 3 cheers for person who suggested PW subject. (Y)

Tomorrow dance practice! let's do it guys! :D

Let's hope i don't fall in again.

#246 tired

Sometimes i wonder why do i want to take up so many responsibilities.

To impress? To live up to my expectations? or just because i have too much free time.

Life is pretty hectic, causing my mood to go astray at home. Wana say sorry to my grandma, parents and sister, whom i have lost my temper and shouted at sometimes. I will reflect my actions seriously and promise to change for the better.

Have to manage my time seriously now. Life now ain't fun and games.

guess i have no chance to pursue "you"

#245 Busy busy.

Okie, have been kinda busy with council mission, homework tutorials and studying for the maths test which i think i ain't gonna do well. :( shucks have to let parents down again. /: i think i will need maths tuition. :(

Alrighto, i just found 2 great friends whom share the same views on relationships! :D nice to chat with them about *ahem* xD

and yeah just did a quiz on myself and it's dam true. Recommended by my twin, lingyu! :D

Your view on yourself:

You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Your views on education

You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
The right job for you:

You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy.
How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.
What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Go try it! It's quite true for my case. :)
